The Ocean House Bed & Breakfast Hotel, in Spring Lake, New Jersey,
is playing the odds that guests will enjoy staying in their historic
'cottage' (circa 1877) during the famed Breeders' Cup World Championships
at Monmouth Park October 24-28, 2007. Offering a unique package to guests
who stay for any 3 nights during the thoroughbred races, owners Nancy
& Dennis Kaloostian are preparing box lunches for their sporting
guests during the acclaimed weekend.
Each day that
guests attend the races, the Kaloostians will send them off with a hearty
gourmet box lunch, consisting of an overstuffed sandwich, fresh seasonal
fruit, homemade cookies and a soft drink. In addition, guests will be
able to reserve (optional) car & van service to the horse races.

The
Breeders' Cup World Championships, Thoroughbred racing's premier event
held at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, NJ is celebrating its 24th Anniversary.
Horseracing fans enjoy the richest day at the distinguished racetrack
(circa 1970) with 11 horse races on a one-mile dirt oval track. This
year awards total $23 million in purses and honors. Hosted by a different
racetrack each year, this is the first time the championships have come
to Monmouth Park.
