SPECIAL NEEDS & REQUESTS
I have provided any special needs or requests, to The Ocean House within my online booking request. If The Ocean House cannot accommodate those needs or requests, they will discuss them with me, before processing my reservation request

RESERVATION
To secure a reservation at the Ocean House Hotel, customers must pay a deposit. This deposit corresponds to the price of one night, either the first night or the weekend night, whichever is higher. Once the customer has paid the deposit, the Ocean House cancellation policy applies to any change of date or cancellation of the reservation. Check-In time: 3:00PM Check-Out time: 11:00AM The Ocean House does not accept customer arrivals before 12:30 pm. The customer will receive a message from the Ocean House when the customers accommodation is available. All rates are based on double occupancy. There is a $50 surcharge for each additional person in rooms that can accommodate a third or fourth person. The customer will be required to pay that surcharge if they have an additional person staying in their accommodation. The Ocean House reserves the right to update customer accommodations for comparable room changes and/or upgrades for any reason deemed necessary by the Ocean House.

CHILDREN AND PETS
The Ocean House does not allow children under the age of 12 on the property or as part of a customer reservation. Documented and Certified service animals must be approved by the Ocean House prior to arrival, documentation will be required. Emotional support animals and pets are unfortunately not permitted on the property.

CANCELLATION AND DATE CHANGE
Cancellation requests for refunds 8 days or more prior to the customer's stay will incur a transaction fee of 8% of the deposit amount that the customer will be required to pay. Customers may convert their reservation deposit into a gift certificate valid for 5 years at no charge. Cancellation requests for refunds, for all reservations and reservations during federal holidays, within 7 days prior to the customer's stay, will incur a transaction fee of 50% of the total amount of the stay that the customer will be required to pay. Requests for refunds within 72 hours of the stay will incur a transaction fee of 100% of the total amount of the stay that the customer will be required to pay. If a customer requests a date change, the customer acknowledges that the Ocean House does not waive the minimum night requirements in effect at the time the customer booked their stay. Customers are required to pay a cancellation fee for the date change that will correspond to the rates for the minimum nights required at the time of booking. These charges will be calculated for night cancellations at any time after the reservation has been confirmed.

BEACH BADGE
Customers can purchase beach badges during their stay and use them from arrival to departure. The cost of purchasing a beach badge at the Ocean House is $12 per person. Each beach badge purchased by a customer MUST BE RETURNED before the customers departure. If the beach badge is not returned before the customer's departure, the customer will be required to pay the replacement fee of $250 for each beach badge lost. Beach badges may be added to a customer's reservation at the customer's request. Customers must inform the Ocean House prior to arrival if they wish to add beach badges to their reservation. The Ocean House only allows for one beach badge per occupant in a reservation.

UMBRELLA
The Ocean House offers umbrella rentals at a cost of $10 per umbrella. A customer may rent an umbrella from the Ocean House to use from arrival to departure. Only one umbrella is allowed per reservation. If the customer damages or loses the umbrella they will be required to pay a $50 replacement fee.

PARKING
The Ocean House has a limited number of parking spaces for customers. Handicapped placard owners are allowed to park in front of the Ocean House overnight. Customers may park only one car on site per reservation. Customer parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. If a customer parks in the Ocean House lot, their car may remain there for the duration of their stay, but if the customer moves their car at any time during their stay, another customer has the right to park in the vacant space. The Ocean House asks customers to move their car before 12 noon on the customers check-out day. We ask all customers parking on the property to display an Ocean House parking card on their dashboard. It can be obtained at reception.

AMENITIES
THERE IS NO ELEVATOR ON PROPERTY. The onsite staff are available from 3pm to 6pm to help customers with their luggage. The Ocean House offers free Wi-Fi as well as complimentary ice, bikes, bike locks, beach chairs and towels. Customers must be 18 years of age to use the Ocean House bicycles. Hairdryers, irons and ironing boards are available on request from reception. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV, cable box, air conditioning, shower products and a private bathroom. Coolers are not permitted in any room. All food and beverages must be kept in the customer refrigerators on the first floor. Breakfast at the Ocean House is included in the price of the customers reservation and is available each morning of the customers stay between 8:30am and 10:00am. If a customer has any food allergies, please inform the Ocean House prior to the customers check-in date. Customers with dietary restrictions are encouraged to bring their own food for storage in the customer refrigerators on the first floor.

SMOKING
Customers of the Ocean House are not permitted to smoke, vape or burn anything with an open flame anywhere on the premises, including the porch and garden. Customers who violate this policy will be fined a minimum of $250, and up to the full cost of damages created or caused by the infraction.

COVID-19
Customers booking at the Ocean House acknowledge that they have no symptoms of COVID-19 and accept the risks associated with travel at that time. The customer will not hold the Ocean House responsible in any way whatsoever for the transmission or contraction of COVID-19 or any other illness during or after their stay at the Ocean House. We ask all guests to follow CDC recommendations regarding vaccination status and other health factors when traveling at this time.

HOUSEKEEPING
Ocean House reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee of $200 to the customer's credit card for rooms that require additional cleaning beyond their normal use. Any additional costs related to the replacement of broken, stolen or damaged items during the customer's stay will be charged to the customer's credit card.

DRIVER LICENSE
All customers making a reservation with the Ocean House will be required to submit their driver's license by replying to the confirmation e-mail they will receive after booking with their driver's license picture.

LOST PROPERTY ACCESS & ROOM KEYS
Customers who lose their room key or property access key, or both keys, will be charged a $30 lost-key fee.

BICYCLES
The customer understands that if they use one of our complimentary bicycles provided they and the other occupants in their reservation are 18 years of age or older. The customer agrees not to hold the Ocean House liable in the event of an accident, injury or any form of harm brought to the customer caused by riding or using the bicycle. The customer agrees to pay a replacement fee of $100.00 if the bicycle is lost, stolen or damaged in such a way that it can no longer be ridden. The customer understands that the bicycle is a complimentary service to the customer and is therefore used at the customer's own risk.
